Best Colleges in America, 2013

The U.S News and World’s report listed and ranked the best colleges in America its 2013 edition in which stability is maintained for both the national universities and national liberal arts college lists. The top positions in the top Best colleges year’s list is occupied by Harvard University and Princeton University which are very large universities that mainly focuses on many bachelor degrees, Maters degrees and also researches.

Under National Liberal Arts college, Williams College stood in the top which emphasizes ¬†undergraduate education and issues degrees to major liberal arts such as English, History and Philosophy. There was some slight changes in the rankings compared to the last year’s list. Some of the changes were the forth place has been tied between Columbia University and University of CHicago and the tenth place was occupied by California University of technology. The biggest change is that Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has stepped nine steps forward from 50th rank to 41st rank.

In the list of National Liberal Arts College, Vassar college and Claremont McKenna college are competing the 10th position whereas Harvey Mudd college stood on 12th and Bard college stood on 36th. Coming to Regional Universities and schools which offers different undergraduate, masters degrees, Villanova University stood first place in North region, ROllins College in South, Creighton University in Mid-west and Trinity University in west.

Rankings released by U.S News

In almost all the schools, students are studying with more debts which occurred because of their loans for education. Hence, in U.S news, it was pointed out that the students and parents should thinks of their debts before taking loans and joining in a school rather they can join in schools under merit aid. For this, U.S News has released top list of schools which intakes students based on merits. Also, U.S news ranked schools based on the quality of education with least cost. Also, the another criteria is Whether the students get jobs immediately after they’re landed out of their colleges. SO, U.S news has ranked some colleges which are giving Internships and Jobs as soon as they come out of their colleges.
